New editorial illustrations — October 2026

Seven new illustrations were created with AI image generation for this edition: Bitcoin key safety; ICQ history; AMD and Intel processors; cloud and mail; Israeli technology companies; Hannover Messe 2026; and the history of the Hannover fair. Tux and GNU are depicted as recognizable editorial mascots. Recreated company marks identify the subjects and do not imply sponsorship. The historical and fair scenes are illustrations, not archival or event photographs.

Hebrew article image corrections

The Hebrew editions now use subject-specific illustrations: Linux with Tux, GNU with its mascot, ClamAV with its scanning emblem, Wikipedia with the puzzle globe, and aliyah with the existing Tux arrival scene. New AI-created editorial images cover Linux server administration, local internet peering in Israel, and historical IBM/Dehomag punched-card equipment. The peering scene is not an official IIX topology; the historical image is not an archival photograph. The editorial illustrations have been vectorized into SVG paths from their previous raster versions. SVG files do not contain embedded bitmap images.
